Background

A new entrepreneur was looking to start a new online business and needed help both from a legal point of view as well as the complex issue of how to manage tax affairs when doing business in the online arena.

The goal was an e-Commerce structure website, able to provide goods and services to customers around the world, but before that could be done, he needed first to set up a company through which to operate. He also wanted to hire two employees to help implement the business.

Literally, online marketplace websites are just that: "market places", in this case, one established to collect goods and services from different vendors or different websites and then selling them on.

Studio LTA provided all the relevant legal and tax assistance towards the establishment of the new company, also making use of the employment law advice of our internal professionals, so the company structure could be formed and employees hired.

The LTA approach

Various members of our team collaborated to support the customer through the early stages of construction of the new website, helping with the preparation and implementation of the documents necessary for its correct legal framework, taking care of all the necessary authorizations, especially by drafting the policy on data processing, the terms and conditions of use, and ensuring the correct application of the rules of cookies and data transfer as well as payment systems and protocols.

Results

Thanks to the solid and proactive support from Studio LTA, the new e-Commerce website is now growing rapidly and above all, running smoothly. The original two employees have now been joined by others and the company expects to grow rapidly over the coming years.
