The start-up

Background

After working as a freelancer and gaining the relevant experience, Matt, a British freelancer living in Italy, realized that it was time to organize his work, involve other people, improve relations with the banks ... in short, to grow up. The goal was to make himself more suitable for important customers and be able to offer his services to a larger, more demanding clientele.

He then began to rotate between different studios and discussed his plans with many professionals: first an accountant (business plan? Permissions? tax compliance?), then a labor consultant and an expert in labor law (how to manage labor relations? Hiring and firing?), finally a lawyer (arranging formalized relationships and contractual terms with customers and suppliers?). Tired of having to run from one study to another and confused because of the piecemeal advice he was getting, he arrived in LTA saying that he was heartbroken, "Everyone says they can help, but actually it's like they want me to be a freelancer all my life. It all seems too complex."
